   Like the smaller Serratella deficiens, Ephemerella needhami display pale yellowish legs, and Dark Dun wings. Nymphs prefer areas of the stream that support vegetation in medium to fast riffles.

   E. needhami duns range in hook size from 16 to 20, the larger size 16's are rare on the upper Delaware system.
